Cadet Josiah Custer from Ozark High School in Missouri, takes aim at a small target 45.5 millimeters in diameter and 10 meters (33 feet) away during the 2016 JROTC National Air Rifle Championship in Anniston, Ala., on March 19. Ozark High School is an Army affilliate and is one of the 73 schools that sent 56 teams as well as numerous individual shooters representing all four U.S. Forces. Teams and individuals shot their way through various local and regional competitions in order to qualify for this culminating event. Next to Custer is a screen that shows that his previous shot and allows him to see where each shot hits.
