FORT HOOD, Texas — The 510th Route Clearance Platoon, 20th Engineer Battalion, 36th Engineer Brigade operates the interrogation robot to interrogate a suspected improvised explosive device that has been emplaced along the road. From the security of their Medium Mine Protected Vehicle, Type II (MMPV II), the Engineer Soldiers can deploy and operate the robot without having to open the MMPV II, or expose themselves outside their vehicles.
