MARINE CORPS BASE HAWAII – Col. Sean C. Killeen, the commanding officer of Marine Corps Base Hawaii, and a Mundelein, Ill., native, presents a certificate of appreciation to Andy Snow, a construction manager with Contrack Watts, at the ribbon cutting ceremony for the new MV-22 hangar on Marine Corps Air Station Kaneohe Bay aboard Marine Corps Base Hawaii, July 19, 2016. The hangar took approximately two years to finish and is the first hangar built since World War II. The ceremony was held to celebrate the completion of a MV-22 Osprey hangar. Marine Medium Tilt Rotor-268, “Red Dragons,” made their new home here, making them the first Osprey squadron to be stationed in Hawaii. Senior military leaders, members of Hawaii’s congressional delegation and key community partners attended the event to support and praise the completion of the MV-22 hangar.
