160724-N-YD641-038 PHILIPPINE SEA (July 24, 2016) Aviation Ordnanceman 3rd Class (AW) Collin Chapdelaine, from Bryant, Arkansas, poses for a photo in the aircraft armament shop of the Navy’s only forward-deployed aircraft carrier, USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76). “My job is to repair and maintain all the bombs, missile launchers and aircraft guns for the air wing,” said Chapdelaine. “What I like best about my job, other than working hands-on, is the fact that I have a tangible purpose. Without me, there’d be no warheads on foreheads.” Ronald Reagan, the Carrier Strike Group Five (CSG 5) flagship, is on patrol in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of responsibility supporting security and stability in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
