    Army Reserve medical personnel provide care to Chadian combat wounded in Chad hospital

    U.S. Army Reserve Col. Paul Malinda, left, and Maj. Malinda is an emergency room physician for the Army Reserve Medical Command, and Santiago is an operating room nurse for the 405th Combat Support Hospital. The exercise is a joint effort between the Chadian government, U.S. Army Africa, the 405th CSH, 7th Mission Support Command and the 3rd Medical Command (Deployment Support) from the U.S. Army Reserve from June 6 to 22, 2016. MEDRETE 16-3 serves as an opportunity for U.S. and Chadian forces to hone and strengthen their life saving skills as well as reinforce the partnership between both countries.
