YOKOSUKA, Japan (Sept. 3, 2016) Boatswain's Mate Seaman (SW) Luis Marchendelrosario hauls in mooring line 12 during sea-and-anchor detail on the fantail of the of the USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76). Reagan uses multiple 8-inch double braided lines to secure the ship to the pier while in port. Ronald Reagan provides a combat-ready force, which protects and defends the collective maritime interests of the U.S. and its allies and partners in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
