ARABIAN GULF (Oct. 01, 2016) Petty Officer 3rd Class Jacob Keller, from Marshall, Ill., welds together an arm for a ballistic door in the repair shop of the aircraft carrier USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN 69) (Ike). Keller serves aboard Ike as a hull maintenance technician and is responsible for metal work on the ship. Ike and its Carrier Strike Group are deployed in support of Operation Inherent Resolve, maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations.
