PHILIPPINE SEA (Oct. 3, 2016) An MH-60S Sea Hawk, assigned to the "Golden Falcons" of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 12, takes off from the flight deck of the Navy's only forward-deployed aircraft carrier, USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76). The MH-60S Sea Hawk is used for anti-surface warfare, naval special warfare support, special operations support, combat search and rescue, logistics, drug interdiction, anti-piracy operations, humanitarian relief operations and airborne mine countermeasures. Ronald Reagan, the Carrier Strike Group Five (CSG 5) flagship, is on patrol supporting security and stability in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
