Soldiers from U.S. Army Central, U.S. Marines from around southwest Asia and personnel from Jordan Armed Forces – Arab Army (JAF) participate in a Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear (CBRN) mitigation exercise January 18, 2017, at a military base near Amman, Jordan. Marines and Soldiers observed JAF demonstrations and shared some of their own techniques and procedures for identification and removal of unexploded ordinance and chemical threats. The joint exercise was an opportunity for the different services and nations to come together, share ideas, and show their counterparts some best practices.
