USS MAKIN ISLAND, Gulf of Aden (Dec. 27, 2016) U.S. Marine Lance Cpl. Edward Young-Moore, an MV-22 airframe mechanic with Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 163 (Reinforced), 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit, poses for a photo after securing chains on an MV-22 Osprey in the hangar bay of the USS Makin Island (LHD 8) Dec. 27. At sea, static aircraft must be secured to the deck of the ship for safety of the crew.
