USS MAKIN ISLAND, Gulf of Aden (Dec. 27, 2016) U.S. Marine Lance Cpl. Derrick Churchman, an MV-22 airframe mechanic with Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 163 (Reinforced), 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit, positions an engine transportation trailer underneath an MV-22 Osprey on the USS Makin Island (LHD 8) Dec. 27. Churchman, along with assistance of other Marines, moved the engine transportation trailer to pull out one of two engines scheduled for removal from an Osprey. The 11th MEU is currently supporting U.S. 5th Fleet’s mission to promote and maintain stability and security in the region. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Cpl. April L. Price)
