A tear-streaked Army Capt. Richard Espaillat renders a salute during a memorial service dedicated to his father, Maj. Gen. Francisco A. Espaillat, April 14, 2017, at First United Methodist Church in Oviedo, Fla. Espaillat’s father, who served as the commanding general of the 143d Sustainment Command (Expeditionary) from 2014-2016, died April 7 in Ft. Bragg. N.C.
