(July 27, 2017) Girls Day Out (GDO) attendees learn about the technology used in the new nursing program at Trident Technical College (TTC) in North Charleston on the first day of the two-day event. GDO is hosted by Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center (SSC) Atlantic in collaboration with the Office of Naval Research, College of Charleston, Trident Technical College, the Advance Cyber Forensic Education Consortium and other SSC Atlantic industry partners. SSC Atlantic develops, acquires and provides life cycle support for command, control, communications, computer, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (C4ISR) systems, information technology and space capabilities. A leading-edge Navy engineering center, SSC Atlantic designs, builds, tests, fields and supports many of the finest frontline C4ISR systems in use today, and those being planned for the future.
