Underwater Construction Team 2 is leading an effort with Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 4 and Timor-Leste National Police’s Maritime Police Unit to construct a steel pile pier to increase small boat berthing in support of maritime security operations. UCT 2 specializes in the construction, inspection, maintenance, and repair of underwater and waterfront facilities in support of the Pacific Fleet.
