FAJARDO, Puerto Rico, Jan.30, 2018 - The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), in collaboration with the U.S. Coast Guard (USCG), has been identifying and properly disposing of vessels and their hazardous waste and electronics. They give priority to vessels that are actively releasing toxic materials. Absorbent barriers are used to absorb the contaminants that later will be deposited in these tanks. Eduardo Martinez/FEMA.
