Soldiers from the 327th Engineer Company receive a supplemental welcome home ceremony with Lt. Gen. Jack C. Stultz the chief of the Army Reserve, and his wife, Laura, during the 327th's Family Day event at the American Legion in Onalaska, Wis., Aug. 17. The soldiers returned from thier deployment in Iraq and Afghanistan six months ago. The community shows its support with convenient housing options for some of the returning soldiers. Spc. Justin A. Lechner said, it only took him a month to find a place to live. Spc. Timothy S. Butz said, his apartment did not require an application because he was still in a deployed status when he requested it. These considerations make the challenging process of re-integration easier for soldiers.
