Spc. Justin A. Lechner, with the 327th Engineer Company, sits with his girlfriend Brittany A. Grossheim and son Kayden A. Lechner during the unit's family day event at the American Legion in Onalaska, Wis., Aug. 17. Lechner went from being a full time soldier to a new dad needing a new home. He said it took him only a month to find one. Lechner said the biggest difference between his deployment life and new civilian life was the son he came home to.
