Family members of the 327th Engineer Company enjoy the dunk tank during the unit's Family Day event at the American Legion in Onalaska, Wis., Aug. 17. Army Reserve Family Days are like unit family reunions. "We're all part of a family, and so our spouses, our children, our parents are part of that same family. It's good to bring them together," said Lt. Gen. Jack C. Stultz, chief of the Army Reserve, whom attended the 327th Family Day, with his wife Laura. This family day helped couples and families continue the reconnection process after the soldiers' deployment to Iraq and Afghanistan six months ago. "It makes me feel and think to myself, I'm not the only one with someone in the military. There are other people going through the same thing," says Jessie M. Niebuhn, fiance of Alexander B. Scholten, a member of the 327th.
