A Guardsmen from El Paso's 3rd Battalion 133 Field Artillery Regiment give extra eyes on the line for Del Rio sector U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Border Patrol Agents. Operating the cameras during surveillance duties from a camera room, effectually returning an Agent (normally detailed to the position) back to the line. Sgt. Alejandro Barriosantos assists agents on the line using a joystick controlling cameras viewing areas and relaying information, "I love what I'm doing, getting to see these agents in action is cool... they get their apprehensions after following signs in heavy terrain and I was able to help," he said, 16 May 2018.
