The USS Rushmore (LSD 47) and the USS Denver (LPD 9) and steam through the Gulf of Oman. Rushmore and Denver, as part of the Bonhomme Richard Expeditionary Strike Group, are on a regularly scheduled deployment in support of Maritime Operations. Maritime Operations help set the conditions for security and stability, as well as aid counter-terrorism and security efforts to regional nations.
