(from bottom) The USS Higgins (DDG 76), the USS Antietam (CG 54), and the USS O'Kane (DDG 77) steam through the Gulf of Oman. Antietam and O'Kane, as part of the John C. Stennis Carrier Strike Group, and Higgins, as part of the Nimitz Carrier Strike Group are on regularly scheduled deployments in support of Maritime Operations. Maritime Operations help set the conditions for security and stability, as well as aid counter-terrorism and security efforts to regional nations.
