(Left to right) the USS John C. Stennis (CVN 74), the USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD 6) and the USS Denver (LPD 9) steam through the Gulf of Oman. Stennis, as part of the John C. Stennis Carrier Strike Group and Bonhomme Richard and Denver, as part of the Bonhomme Richard Expeditionary Strike Group, are on regularly scheduled deployments in support of Maritime Operations. Maritime Operations help set the conditions for security and stability, as well as aid counter-terrorism and security efforts to regional nations.
