Soldiers from the North Carolina Army National Guard disembark a 145th Airlift Wing C-17 Globemaster III Aircraft at Biggs Army Airfield in Texas, after having been Airlifted from Pope Army Airfield in North Carolina, at Biggs Army Airfield, Fort Bliss Texas, August 1, 2018. For the 145th Airlift Wing the mission to Pope Field was the first of what is hoped to be many made by the NCANG, by October the unit plans to begin supporting Airdrop missions with weekly flights to Pope Field, picking up Soldiers and Cargo for regular Airborne operations.
