John Zimmermann, currently deployed to Afghanistan as part of the Security Partnering, Future Operations team for ISAF Joint Command, prepares to record yet another entrant for the Chicago Marathon satellite Oct. 6 in Kabul. Zimmermann, who will be running the marathon for the 11th time Oct. 7, has stepped up to organize and plan the event from halfway across the world. One of his many reasons for setting up the event was summed up in six simple, but important words," Goal of 50 Chicagos in 2050."
