Wayne Miller, a Witham, Essex native, currently serving with ISAF Joint Command and assigned to the Allied Rapid Reaction Corps, completes his second lap of 20 during the Bank of America Chicago Marathon satellite n Kabul, Afghanistan, shortly after the sun begins to rise Oct. 7. More than 120 soldiers, airmen, sailors, Marines and civilians from numerous coalition nations showed up for the early morning start of the marathon, which raised more than $12,000 for the St. Jude Research Hospital.
