“Oscar,” a 75-foot mechanized landing craft operated by U.S. Navy Sailors assigned to the Navy Boat Docks at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, N.C., before its biennial maintenance, Oct. 10, 2018. The Sailors took Oscar to a commercial boat yard capable of hoisting the heavy boat out of the water near Beaufort, N.C., for dry maintenance.
