Volunteer search and rescue personnel practice basic helicopter orientation during the safety and awareness course Oct 4-6, at Walker Creek Ranch, Petaluma, CA. Far right is 21 yr old Chrissy Tiner and her rescue dog, Haley. Tiner, is a 2 yr veteran with the California Rescue Dog Association (CRDA), a free and direct resource of Cal OES’ Law and Enforcement Division. They are considered to be the most extensive search dog group in the nation. Haley was very comfortable with the engines on and off during the training day.
