Army Corps of Engineers - Alaska District; and Heidi Hedberg, director of Alaska Division of Public Health; tour patient rooms inside the alternative care facility at the Alaska Airlines Center on April 15 in Anchorage. To help the state in its fight against COVID-19, the Corps is executing a mission assignment from the Federal Emergency Management Agency that is focused on addressing a possible shortage of medical facilities in Alaska.
