"I am Spc. Kathryn Bass. I am a 68 Whiskey, combat medic and I’m with the 162nd MCAS (Medical Company Area Support) out of San Antonio in Camp Bullis. We’re out here testing people in the community, anyone who wants to get tested can come out.
This isn’t my first experience with medical. I’ve worked in pediatric urgent care as a medical assistant. But this is the first time working in a community health setting.
Outside of the military I am a full-time nursing student at University of Texas Health in San Antonio, Texas. Something interesting about me is that I can play guitar.
It’s been good being part of this team, we’ve become a family and have all gotten to know each other.
I want people to know we are really hard workers. We can get this Mobile Testing Site set up and broken down pretty quickly. We can also get patients through efficiently and safely." (U.S. Army Photo by Capt. Leyda Ocasio-Kanzler)
