"I am Pfc. Christopher Ramos. I’m an outgoing person, I like to help out my community and help others, especially my Soldiers. I think everyone needs a helping hand. When we do our testing sites, I try to do as much time as I can to give everyone else less time out there in the suit.
I’m really motivated. Whenever I see an opportunity like this mission, I hop on it.
So far, it’s been a fun ride. There are some early mornings but you still find motivation to get up and do what I have to do.
In the suit, depending the weather; if it’s hot and sunny it can be like a sauna suit. It’s not too bad. I have Soldiers like Sgt. Salas that will come and help me clean my gloves and wipes my face and then I can push on. If it’s a nice cool day, it’s nice honestly, it’s not too bad
When I decided to become a medic, I wanted to volunteer in my community or help out Soldiers with medical. So, when I heard about this opportunity, I thought perfect, I can actually do something that is part of my job and put my skill sets to the test and learn something new. It’s been a joyful ride. Plus, I just like helping out."
