(Nov. 10, 2020) Naval Submarine Base (SUBASE) New London Ombudsman Assembly Chairperson Christie offers remarks after receiving the U.S. Fleet Forces Command, Sybil Stockdale Ombudsman of the Year Award, in a closed, limited-attendance, physically-distanced, and virus-mitigated ceremony in the base Dealey Center Theater. Fricke, who is also command ombudsman for USS Hartford (SSN 768), was recognized for her exceptional work as a crew-to-family liaison. She was selected for the honor from more 1,900 ombudsmen.
