Mrs. Kay Nicholds addresses the audience, which included numerous family members, during the memorialization of the Armed Forces Reserve Center at Fort Benning, Ga., in the name of her uncle, Army chaplain Lt. Col. Elmer Heindl. Chaplain Heindl was a Catholic priest and served in World War II in the Pacific Theater. For various heroic actions he was awarded the Distinguished Service Cross, the Silver Star and the Bronze Star medals.
