Robert Heindl prepares to cut the ribbon during the memorialization of the Armed Forces Reserve Center at Fort Benning, Ga. The building was named in honor of Army chaplain Lt. Col. Elmer Heindl, a Catholic priest who was awarded numerous medals for heroic actions in the Pacific Theater during World War II. Robert Heindl is the chaplain's brother.
