Army Reserve Officer Training Corps cadets Adam Arnold and Kyle Harbison from New Mexico State University completed the 12-kilometer ruck march Sept. 7, and six other events to win the German Armed Forces Military Proficiency Badge. The German air force personnel stationed here have sponsored the competition for American troops eight times in the past three years. The GAFMPB is awarded in gold, silver or bronze. The coveted badge may be worn on the U.S. Army service uniform.
