Recovery boats await the next round of U.S. Army Reserve paratroopers during a Deliberate Water Jump, Biscayne Bay, Miami-Dade County, Florida, Nov. 19, 2021. The jump was part of the U.S. Army Civil Affairs and Psychological Operations Command (Airborne) week-long Army Reserve Airborne Safety Equipment and Evaluation Council in Homestead, Florida.
Hosted by the 478th Civil Affairs Battalion (Airborne), Perrine, Florida, the jump involved coordination with several outside agencies including the Coast Guard, and Miami-Dade Police, Fire and Rescue and Parks Department to ensure maximum safety during the operation.
