USAID is working with small businesses across Iraq to promote private sector solutions to climate change.
Maxima is a startup in Anbar that produces eco-friendly electrical appliances that run on solar power.
Through USAID support, Maxima received one-on-one mentorship from business leaders to improve their financial management and marketing strategy and help them to use online platforms like Facebook Marketplace, which has become a primary outlet for Maxima’s business to sell and promote their products.
