Solid waste advisors, Brian McCarthy, a Scottish contractor with RTI International, Kirkuk Provincial Reconstruction Team inspects the leachate system which will drain liquid residue from the first active landfill that meets U.S. Environmental Protection Agency standards in Iraq, Zindana sector, Taza, Kirkuk province, Dec. 16, 2007. The landfill is scheduled to be in full operation February, 2008.
