GARDEN ISLAND, Australia (Dec. 1, 2022) – U.S. Navy Sailors assigned to the Virginia-class fast-attack submarine USS Mississippi (SSN 782), Sailors assigned to Navy Munitions Command East Asia Division (NMC EAD) unit Guam, Royal Australian Navy Sailors, and explosive ordnance support personnel from Thales Australia participate in a weapons-handling training exercise with a Tomahawk Land Attack Missile training shape at HMAS Stirling Navy Base on Garden Island, Dec. 1. Mississippi conducted expeditionary reload training at HMAS Stirling, Australia, to enhance interoperability and communication, and strengthen relationships with the Royal Australian Navy.
