U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. – Air Force World Class Athlete Program’s Airman 1st Class Tyler Evans and his modern pentathlon coach, Omar Elgeziry, engage in an epee assault during fencing training. Evans has qualified to represent the USA Pentathlon team at the World Cup competitions later this year in in hopes of competing in the 2024 Summer Olympic Games in Paris. Established in 1995, Air Force WCAP, managed by the Air Force Services Center, continues the legacy of Tuskegee Airman Malvin G. Whitfield.
