Lance Corporal Tyler Papalski, a rifleman with company A, 1st Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment walks a 3rd Battalion, Royal Bruneian Landing Force soldier through immediate action drills. The Marines of 1/3 have been working closely with the Bruneian infantryman to learn from one another and hone their urban combat skills as a part of exercise Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training (CARAT) Brunei 2012. CARAT is a series of bilateral military exercises between the U.S. Navy and the armed forces of Bangladesh, Brunei, Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Brunei and Timor Leste.
