Lance Corporal Travis Main, a squad leader with Company A, 1st Battalion, 3d Marines, explains the importance of a ready muzzle when entering hostile compounds to the soldiers of 3rd Battalion, Royal Bruneian Landing Force. “There’s a readiness to learn from both sides here.” said Main. “I’m really excited about the opportunity to train with these soldiers.” Marines and Bruneian Soldiers have been utilizing the garrison’s new urban training facility to hone their combat effectiveness together as part of exercise Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training (CARAT) Brunei 2012.
