    30 June, 2023 (VIRGINIA BEACH, Virginia) Commodore, Maritime Expeditionary Security Group TWO (MESG TWO), Captain Christopher Wells is rendered honors following the Maritime Expeditionary Security Squadron TWO (MSRON TWO) change of command ceremony onboard Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek – Fort Story. Commander Jeffery Margalus, was relieved by Commander David “Joey” Vitollo as Commanding Officer of MSRON TWO. MSRON TWO was established in the wake of the bombing of the USS Cole (DDG-67) and the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks with the primary goal of providing anti-terrorism defense for American assets around the globe using well-trained and highly mobile security forces.
