30 June, 2023 (VIRGINIA BEACH, Virginia) Commanding Officer, Maritime Expeditionary Security Squadron TWO (MSRON TWO), Commander Jeffery Margalus is rendered honors during the arrival of the official party during the MSRON TWO change of command ceremony onboard Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek – Fort Story. Commander Jeffery Margalus, was relieved by Commander David “Joey” Vitollo as Commanding Officer of MSRON TWO. MSRON TWO was established in the wake of the bombing of the USS Cole (DDG-67) and the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks with the primary goal of providing anti-terrorism defense for American assets around the globe using well-trained and highly mobile security forces.
