    30 June, 2023 (VIRGINIA BEACH, Virginia) Maritime Expeditionary Security Squadron TWO (MSRON TWO) Commanding Officer, Commander Jeffery Margalus, is relieved by Commander David “Joey” Vitollo during a change of command ceremony onboard Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek – Fort Story. Commander Margalus served as MSRON TWO’s CO from April 2022 to June 2023. MSRON TWO was established in the wake of the bombing of the USS Cole (DDG-67) and the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks with the primary goal of providing anti-terrorism defense for American assets around the globe using well-trained and highly mobile security forces.
