AIRAI, Palau, (August 7, 2023) - Rear Adm. Gregory Huffman observes a handler demonstration at Palau Narcotics Enforcement Agency and Bureau of Customs and Border Protection. The K9 unit was provided to Palau through a partnership with the United States. Huffman toured the kennel facility and learned more about the drug enforcement program during a recent tour of Palau.
Huffman conducted the familiarization tour of the region at the beginning of August. As the senior military official of the region, Huffman serves as the commander of Joint Region Marianas, U.S. Naval Forces Marianas, and is the Defense Representative to Guam, the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, Republic of Palau, and Federated States of Micronesia.
