    With USAID’s support, the Iraqi Women’s League brought together community leaders, parent councils, principals, education volunteer groups, and local government stakeholders to discuss ways to resolve issues like dilapidated school buildings and unpaved roads. Following the conversations, the mayor worked with the municipality to pave the roads around two schools and the Dhi Qar Education Department agreed to allocate funds to rehabilitate the rundown buildings.
