U.S. Air Force Airman 1st Class Joshua Remy (left) supervises Tech. Sgt. Trenton Mouser as Mouser marshals an F-16 Fighting Falcon off the flight line for a morning sortie during exercise Bamboo Eagle on Jan. 29 at Naval Base Ventura County Point Mugu in California. Remy is an F-16 crew chief with the 510th Fighter Squadron (FS), based at Aviano Air Base in Italy. Although Mouser’s job title is weather specialist, he is also trained to marshal aircraft as part of his duties with the 321st Critical Response Squadron (CRS). The 321st CRS traveled from its home base at McGuire Air Force Base in New Jersey to support the 510th FS that was flying training missions during Bamboo Eagle. This is the first iteration of Bamboo Eagle, which is a U.S. Air Force Warfare Center live-fly, multidomain combat readiness exercise. Bamboo Eagle includes more than 150 aircraft operating from over 10 locations across the western U.S. (U.S. Navy photo by Eric Parsons/Released)
