F-16C Fighting Falcons from the 510th and 555th Fighter Squadrons are dwarfed by a large rainbow while parked at Naval Base Ventura County (NBVC) Point Mugu in California on Feb. 1. Both squadrons are stationed at Aviano Air Base in Italy, but used NBVC Point Mugu as a base of operations for a weeklong, live-fly exercise called Bamboo Eagle over the Pacific Ocean. Involving more than 150 aircraft operating from over 10 West Coast locations, Bamboo Eagle was a multidomain combat readiness exercise conducted by the U.S. Air Force Warfare Center. The scenic sky followed storms that dropped several inches of rain across Ventura County. (U.S. Navy photo by Eric Parsons/Released)
