U.S. Navy Lt. Cmdr. Sarah Chilson was presented with the Military Health System 2023 Military Nursing Leadership Award – midgrade winner, by Dr. Lester Martinez-Lopez, assistant secretary of defense for health affairs and U.S. Navy Rear Adm. Darin Via, U.S. Navy surgeon general, on Feb. 15 in National Harbor, Maryland. Chilson currently serves as a clinical nurse specialist stationed at Naval Hospital Jacksonville, Florida.
