U.S. Army Lt. Col. (P) Christopher Stucky was presented with the Military Health System 2023 Military Nursing Leadership Award – senior winner, by Dr. Lester Martinez-Lopez, assistant secretary of defense for health affairs; U.S. Army Maj. Gen. Anthony McQueen, deputy surgeon general; and U.S. Army Command Sgt. Major Timothy Sprunger, senior enlisted advisor to the Army surgeon general, on Feb. 15 in National Harbor, Maryland. Stucky currently serves as perioperative consultant to the Army Surgeon General, nurse scientist and Chief of Research at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center, Germany.
